Kate’s in the Kitchen: Maple-Glazed Nuts

Maple-Glazed Nuts*


8 cups (about 2 pounds) mixed raw nuts
3/4 cup real maple syrup
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon


Stir the nuts together in a large bowl. In a small mixing bowl or mason jar, whisk together the spices, salt, and maple syrup. Pour over nuts and stir to coat evenly, then divide the nuts between two baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Bake at 300 for about 20 minutes or until toasted, stirring once halfway through. Let cool until dry to the touch.
