New Organic Trade Association Staff Member – Angela Jagiello

Angela Jagiello has joined the Organic Trade Association (OTA) staff to fill the newly created position of Associate Director, Conference and Product Development.

“OTA welcomes Angela to our staff and anticipates that her work will further enhance OTA’s conference and information product offerings to better serve the organic industry. We are truly excited by her great credentials and her commitment to organic agriculture. It is also a bonus that many of our members are already familiar with her work within the organic community,” said Christine Bushway, OTA’s Executive Director and CEO.

Jagiello’s passion for organic agriculture as a solution for our planet, for consumers and as a growing economy has been reinforced through work with retailers, manufacturers, members of the media, and advocacy groups over the past 12 years. During that time, she has worked on issues that have both formed and challenged the organic proposition. In her most recent role as Senior Manager of National Accounts for Dr. Hauschka Skin Care Inc., Jagiello worked directly with some of the nation’s largest organic product retailers.

With a background in journalism and public relations, Jagiello is a natural connector of people and ideas. She holds an MBA from the University of Colorado with an emphasis in marketing. Jagiello lives with her family in Western Massachusetts. She can be reached by e-mail at ajagiello@ota.com.
